Hey guys! I’m Vanessa and I am one of your Education Officers on the 2023 AUTLSS executive. This is an exciting opportunity for me to give back to the AUT community. 

 

I am in my third year of my LLB studies, looking to have a future in criminal law. Originally transferring from another university in the beginning of my second year, I needed to put myself out in the community to make friends, understand my studies, and have a fun time at AUT. I hope to help new students coming into AUT to feel confident in their studies and to navigate law school with support around them. To current students, I hope to make their law school journey easier by providing opportunities such as mentoring and workshops. 

 

A fun fact about me is that I am a competitive archer. I spend most of my time at the archery range outside of University and that’s why you’ll always find me in sports clothes.
