Hello everyone, my name is Upashna Ganesh and I am studying 3rd year law at AUT.

 

I am very excited to be one of the Competition Officers for the current year. Taking part in competitions throughout your law school years is very important as it sets you up for the real world, especially in terms of Court etiquette, networking and getting to know your peers in your law school.

 

Personally, I have taken part in 2 competitions throughout my law school journey and have had the honour of winning a moot in my very first year of law school! I hope to encourage more south campus representation in our competitions.

 

On a personal front I have completed my Bachelor of Applied Management in Sales and Marketing at MIT in 2021. I work for a government organisation assisting in employment services. Lastly I enjoy collecting rare plants, spending time with my friends and family.
